Helping Families Grow into their Full Potential

Hi! I am Katie Kramer and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. I am a graduate of Wright State University with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I have experience working in a couple of youth mental health partial hospitalization units where I assessed and treated children ages 2-18 experiencing severe behavior concerns. I provided group, individual, and family sessions. I have also worked with individuals and families in outpatient settings.

I believe in working with children and parents together to provide a holistic and wellness counseling approach to treatment. It is important for parents and children to be aware of their emotions as well as physical sensations and triggers. I believe that counseling is such a beneficial intervention for children and adults of all ages.

Wellness counseling integrates physical, social, and emotional health into the treatment model. The purpose of wellness counseling is to assist individuals to maximize their quality of life by discarding poor habits and adopting healthy day to day practices. My passion is in helping to create those habits with your child and yourself to work towards your ideal home environment.

My goal is that you and your child leave feeling trusted, safe, hopeful, and heard.
